At New England GiveCamp, there is space for about 120 project managers, web designers, graphic designers, software developers, social media experts, videographers, copywriters, and other professionals.
- Project Managers lead one of the non-profit projects and potentially also act as an individual contributor on that project. There is also a bit of pre-event preparation a week or two prior to the event to familiarize yourself with the non-profit needs and scope of effort, typically via a phone call or e-mails.
- Design Volunteers include web designers, graphic artists, and freehand artists. Depending on project needs you may work on one project or find yourself supporting mutiple efforts
- Technical Volunteers include software developers, CMS developers, database specialists, analysts, social media and SEO experts, and more
- Support staff aid the logistics of the event via registration, meal setup, etc. Support staff are not required to be on hand for the entire weekend.
Registration for GiveCamp 2013 will open in March 2013; be sure to follow @NEGiveCamp on Twitter for updates as the event approaches.
